General English

Classes for adults from complete beginners to Proficency. With seven levels each divided into three so that level one, for example, has 1A - first time learners of English, 1B - false beginners, and 1C - those who have the basic concepts and vocabulary. Each subsequent level also has three parts which are taken on a three termly basis. At the end of each term students take a progress test to check they have understood the relevant concepts and vocabulary. The aim of these classes is to get students to 'communicate' - to speak and understand. Attention is paid to pronunciation and fluency as well as working with the grammar, vocabulary, reading skills and writing effectively.

Children and Juniors

Speak has specially trained primary school teachers for the youngest learners who combine games, songs stories with English language learning activities so the students enjoy the classes and also progress quickly. We also have a number of teenager classes which are both motivating and exciting to help students to maintain their interest in a difficult age
